That time, Dr. Frankenstein created a toy line.

As a P.R. stunt after the whole Frankenstein monster debacle Dr. Frankenstein created FrankenFurries. Kids everywhere wanted one. People just loved these rejuvenated bunnies. Once again Dr. Frankenstein was back in the good graces of his community. He expanded the FrankenFurries line to include Lamas, Aardvarks and Komodo Dragons but none had the appeal of the bunny. His good standing wasn’t long lived. Other mad scientist got into the game creating there own line of mutated beasts. Not one for competition Dr. Frankenstein had predisposed his FrankenFurries to destroy all knockoff brands. When someone with a FrankenFurrie crossed paths with someone playing with a competing toy line . . . it wasn’t pretty.

Time Lapse Halloween Art

Here are a couple of Procreate time-lapse videos from some of the Halloween art I posted this month. I hope you enjoy watching. I went into these with an idea of what I wanted to draw, but I had to work through some of the characters. Especially the spider. I knew I wanted to draw a spider, but wasn’t quite sure how I wanted it to look, so I had to work through that character quite a bit. Blocking out bigger shapes and then going back into them, adding texture, clothes, facial features, and other details, I find, helps me capture some of that energy from early sketches.
